We arrived at Idaho Falls Luxury RV Park around 2:30 PM. We are staying here for two nights. What a nice park. It’s next to the Snake River. This park used to be a drive-in movie theatre. There is a walking/bike path you can take into the downtown area, which is only a mile from the RV park. The whole trail is about a 10-mile loop. One cool thing about this park is that each site has its own Wi-Fi hotspot. How cool is that?
We hooked up the RV, had lunch, and then drove to the Timber Creek Bison Ranch to buy bison meat. It was only a 15-minute drive outside of town. We bought steaks, jerky, stew meat, and ground bison for burgers and tacos. I also purchased a tin of bison tallow to try on Barry’s eczema on his legs. After we did a small grocery shop at Albertsons.
Once back at the RV, Barry washed the front. It was full of bugs from all the agricultural fields we drove by. I decided to rearrange a few cabinets and found some extra space in doing so. It’s been on my to-do list since we left. Dinner was turkey burgers and chips. We were both starved. After dinner, we cleaned up and walked the park roads, which turned out to be half a mile.
This park has very nice fire pits for each site, so we had bought a bundle of wood earlier. Barry built a fire after the sun set. The weather is so nice that we sat outside for about an hour and enjoyed the fire. The temperature was in the high 70s and very pleasant. Nothing like ending the day with a fire.
