12 May 2025, Boyd's Key West Campground, Key West, Florida Jeeps-12 We were up before the roosters today. Today, the four of us visited Dry Tortugas National Park by boat, and we had to board the ship between 7:00 and 7:30 a.m. It is a three-and-a-half-hour ride, seventy miles off the coast of Key West. Our ship, the Yankee Freedom III , served us breakfast and lunch. At 1:45, the bar opened. They also provide snorkeling gear.  Jan and I took Dramamine, just in case we would get nauseous. Chickens in Key West are protected even from feeding. You can be fined! They are everywhere, even in open-air restaurants. They are very comical. Our little black chicken loves our site. She hopped up on our table and sat there for a while. The other day, Ken was petting her. We can tell what time it is in the evening. Around 7:15 PM, she hopped up on our table, then hopped up to the top of the hedge, and walked along the top to the end and got into her roosting place, hiding from the predators.  Barry and I explored the southern part of the island today. We stopped at a farmer’s market in the Higgs Beach area. There was a lot of cool stuff, but we didn’t buy anything.  We wove our way over to the Southernmost Point Buoy . We would have stopped, but the line was about 45 minutes long. We plan on coming back in the eveni...
