18 May 2025, Boyd’s Key West Campground, Key West, Florida Jeeps - 5 We went around the corner to Croissants De France for breakfast. What a great place. We have wanted to try this since we arrived. I think it’s a good thing we didn’t. They offer a variety of croissants, including both sweet and savory options, as well as sandwiches and other baked goods. We would have all gained five pounds if we did. During breakfast, we decided to try a new beach. We returned to our rigs, changed into swimsuits, packed drinks in our cooler, and headed for Higgs Beach. This beach was not as crowded as Fort Zachery. The water was beautiful and warm. There is an African Cemetery on the beach. The photo below explains the history. There are about 8 or 10 small concrete pillars with African sayings and symbols on them.
