13 April 2025, San Antonio, Texas Today, we slept in and it felt nice to lounge a bit. We planned to explore the River Walk today and decided to take an Uber rather than drive. I was so happy that most of the walk was in the shade. There are many restaurants to choose from. We wanted Mexican food and found a place for a late lunch, Boudro's on the Riverwalk. We ordered cocktails and guacamole made at our table. We then ordered our entrees. All was excellent, and the mariachis playing across the water added to the ambiance. From there, we took an Uber to another shopping area called The Pearl. I spotted an inexpensive fountain pen at the first shop we entered, like I needed another one. We also found a West Elm, so Jan and I went inside. She’s been looking for a new bedspread for their RV. We looked around and she saw one. She was so excited.
