27 April 2025, Orlando/Kissimmee KOA Holiday to Disney World’s Fort Wilderness RV Park, Lake Buena Vista, Florida Today, we left Orlando for Disney World’s Fort Wilderness RV Park. We arrived at 2:45 PM and checked in. Even though we had a map of our site, we missed the road our campsites were on, so we had to make a circle around the area. We were leading, so I radioed J&K and informed them that we were going on a tour of the area. LOL! We didn’t mind because we got to see more of the park.  We made it to our sites. The Reynolds are right across from us—nice big sites. Once hooked up, Barry and Ken went to get the golf cart we all rented for the day. We used it to take a tour of the park and explore all its features.  While they were gone, I walked across the little bridge behind our campsite. It went over to the small amphitheater area. Each night, Chip and Dale lead songs and have s’mores roasts. I found a zip lock bag next to the end of the bridge and picked it up. Jus...

26 April 2025, Orlando/Kissimmee KOA Holiday, Kissimmee, Florida We were up early to be at Universal Orlando when it opened. The four of us decided to take an Uber and not deal with parking. I’m so glad we did because the parking looked confusing.  We got in line and they opened the park a few minutes early. Barry and I are rollercoaster enthusiasts, so we headed for Marvel Super Hero Island to the Incredible Hulk Coaster. Luckily, there are free lockers where we can put our hats and backpacks. What a crazy ride. It was wild and we loved it. Thank goodness we got in line right away. As we exited the ride, the line was HUGE.  The Velocicoaster was our next ride and it was in Jurassic World. We ended up waiting an hour, but it was so worth it. The ride was more than we ever anticipated. As the description says on Universal Orlando’s website, “It’s the apex predator of roller coasters... twisting and soaring above the land and water.” It is unbelievable. We have never ridden anyt...

25 April 2025, Orlando/Kissimmee KOA Holiday, Kissimmee, Florida We arrived at Orlando/Kissimmee KOA Holiday around 3:30 PM. The entrance to this park was narrow. When one of the KOA helpers led us to our site via golf cart, we had to navigate a few narrow turns through the park to reach our site. The amusing thing was that our site was located near the entrance. If anyone plans to stay here, be aware of the narrow road and turns.  We were next to the park’s pond. The park posted a sign to warn people about the presence of alligators. Oh jeezzzzzz. We had a nice patio area with a table and four Adirondack chairs shaded by our RV. Gotta love that. I walked around the park, took a few photos, and found an Apple Snail Shell on the ground next to our table. We also saw these when we took our swamp tour in Louisiana. I looked it up to find out additional information. I’m saving the shell to give to Tucker when we see him in June.  We had an early dinner and met with J&K to dis...

24 April 2025, Tallahassee RV Park, Tallahassee, Florida Jeeps – 7 We arrived around 4:00 PM. What a beautiful park. So much shade, and the sites were level. Barry and I took a walk around the park before sunset, then it was time to retire and relax.  I didn’t take any photos of the park, so I’m posting some from the Tallahassee RV Park   website . 21 April 2025, Pensacola Beach RV Resort Jeeps-17 Today is a drive day to Pensacola Beach, Florida. We passed through Mississippi and Alabama. It was an easy drive, even though we encountered rain. The bridge we crossed just before we drove into the RV park was awesome. The park is not as big as I thought it would be, but it is right on the beach.   Once parked and hooked up, we walked to the RV Resort's private beach and the Tiki Bar. We found a great place in the shade and ordered drinks. We sat on the beach for a few hours, drinking margaritas and enjoying the sunset.  It was dinner time, so we headed back to our RV for leftover fried catfish from last night. We heated everything up and then walked to K&J to have dinner with them. We ended up watching an old Val Kilmer movie, The Saint. I have never seen it. Even though it was dated, it was entertaining.  After the movie, we walked the park loop twice and headed to bed. Nice afternoon.  A few photos before we ...
