10 May 2025 Boyd's Key West Campground Today, we all went to Fort Zachary Taylor Historic State Park Beach . We found a great spot in the shade. The beach was busy, but since it's Mother's Day tomorrow, we expected it to be. The weather was gorgeous, and a slight breeze. The water was a pretty azure blue. The water was warm and enjoyable. We took turns walking up and down the beach. I read, which was nice to do. I haven't read a book in a while. We made lunches, but we still went and checked out the snack bar in case we came back another day. You can also rent loungers and umbrellas for around $40, which is very convenient. We left the beach around 4:00 PM and decided to go to HogFish Bar and Grill. We went to the one by Boyd's. What a great place. They had Fried Green Tomatoes as a special appetizer. OH HAPPY DAY!
