28 April 2025, Disney World Epcot
We were able to enter Epcot early since we stayed at a Disney Hotel. We immediately weaved through the crowd to Guardians of the Galaxy. What a great ride. It’s a dark ride, and the cars spin, but is it ever fun! Best ride in Epcot.

Darn! We didn’t ride the Monorail
We hooked up with J&K at The Three Caballeros and ate lunch at the restaurant right by the ride, San Angel Inn Restaurante. From here, we continued to walk around the World Pond, visiting most of the nations represented: Canada for Barry, the United Kingdom, Japan, American Adventure, Germany, China, and Mexico. I bought ornaments, a Japanese fan, and a Chinese parasol. In American Adventure, Ken wanted to see the movie, so we entered the American Adventure building. As you go up the escalator to the movie theatre, the ceiling is draped with 44 flags that have flown over the United States throughout history. The movie is narrated by animatronics of Benjamin Franklin and Mark Twain. I thought it was done really well and recommend seeing it. Remember I said earlier that Ken wanted to see this... well, he fell asleep. He says he did see some.
I wasn’t sure about Epcot, but I’m glad we went. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I think we all loved the bus ride back to Fort Wilderness and were happy to get off our feet. Great Day.

Bronze statues of various characters were interspersed among the floral displays. When you held up your Magic Band it would buzz and the statue would talk to you.
