Amanda and Addison made breakfast/brunch: bacon, eggs (from her chickens), pancakes, potatoes, and strawberries. It was yummy. A lazy day for us. We did not do much. Tucker rode his bike on his pump track, Barry taught Tucker how to play frisbee, and I played with the dogs, Nalu and Lindy. 

Ryan returned home from work, and we headed to Bend. Our destination was Deschutes Brewery—one of our favorite places to eat in this area. We were lucky enough to find close parking. Barry and I found tee shirts; our old ones are falling apart. Dinner was awesome. 

Once home, we played UNO, a favorite of everyone. Playing with Tucker and Addison was so much fun. We ensured they did not sit by each other this time—no cheating in this game. We played two rounds, and Tucker won a game, and so did I.

2. What is the population of Powell Butte?
3. What are the hours of Deschutes Brewery?
4. How long do chickens live?

We did not play UNO too late since tomorrow is our trip to John Day Fossil Beds National Monument.

Honey Grove is known as "The Sweetest Town in Texas." When settlers arrived, they found numerous bee hives in the county.  I never thought in a million years I would visit Texas.  Just not a state I was interested in, even though my Dad was born and lived here until he was fourteen. 03-16-22 Crescent City, California (Day Trip - Grove of the Titans)

03-16-22 Wednesday  Crescent City, California Crescent City Jeeps in Parking Lot: 2 Drive Time: 0 Miles: 0 Arrived: 0 Woke up to a beautiful morning. Simple breakfast of cereal and a banana. Cleaned up a bit and ready to explore the Redwoods. We stopped by the KOA office to let them know our cable signal was very snowy and the cable line had water in it. Also asked about the channels. The channels listed on the paper with the map of the park is wrong. The woman behind the counter says they change cable providers often so it’s never right....uuummmm. No comment from me. We bought a couple of nice lightweight jackets and off to the National Park Visitor Center in Crescent City.  Zoom in for details At the visitor center I got my passport stamp and purchased a few stickers for my passport book. 2023-03-25 Saturday Pismo Beach Oceano Campground

My Man! Steps today - 14,442 Saturday, and so much for sleeping in. The Reynolds daughter Brook, son-in-law Aaron, granddaughter Kensley, and grandson Arik arrived this morning. Soon we heard Kensley and Arik at our door to say hello. They seemed excited to see us, and they gave big hugs to both of us. Then, they told us about school, and everything they have been doing, as much as an 8 and 10-year-old can say to you. Then back over to abuela and papa's RV.  Soon after, we were off to Pismo Beach. We drove to the left, went as far as we could, then turned around and headed toward the far-end gate. The part of the beach you can drive on was so short compared to before, but it was due to the recent storms. The Reynolds were ahead of us, and as we passed the first gate, a guy flagged us down.
