We left this morning for an entire day of flying to Boston. Our flight left on time at 9:40 AM. We had 2 stops, Santa Barbara, California and Denver, Colorado, and not changing plans. All stops were on time and leaving each airport was on time. We arrived in Boston around 9:45 PM, bathroom stop and onto the baggage claim area. We went to the taxi area and climbed into a non-yellow taxi. Onto the Intercontinental Hotel. Checked in and the hotel restaurants were closed. One of the hosts that checked us in recommended we do Uber Eats. We ordered a chicken quesadilla and fries. It's funny we had to come all the way to Boston to order our first Uber Eats meal. But luck was on our side and we were able to use a $20 off coupon for our first Uber Eats order. Food arrived around midnight and the quesadilla was great but the the fries were soggy....oh well. We hit the hay about 20 minutes later. We have a walking tour tomorrow at 10:30 and we have to be at Boston Commons around 10:15 AM plus eat breakfast. Who's idea was this anyway?

Honey Grove is known as "The Sweetest Town in Texas." When settlers arrived, they found numerous bee hives in the county.  I never thought in a million years I would visit Texas.  Just not a state I was interested in, even though my Dad was born and lived here until he was fourteen. 03-16-22 Wednesday  Crescent City, California Crescent City Jeeps in Parking Lot: 2 Drive Time: 0 Miles: 0 Arrived: 0 Woke up to a beautiful morning. Simple breakfast of cereal and a banana. Cleaned up a bit and ready to explore the Redwoods. We stopped by the KOA office to let them know our cable signal was very snowy and the cable line had water in it. Also asked about the channels. The channels listed on the paper with the map of the park is wrong. The woman behind the counter says they change cable providers often so it’s never right....uuummmm. No comment from me. We bought a couple of nice lightweight jackets and off to the National Park Visitor Center in Crescent City.  Zoom in for details At the visitor center I got my passport stamp and purchased a few stickers for my passport book. The Ranger behind the counter pulled out a map and showed us how to get to Howland Road and some ideas for hikes in the area. One he told us about was a hike to the ‘Grove of Titans.’ This...

2023-03-25 Saturday Pismo Beach Oceano Campground

My Man! Steps today - 14,442 Saturday, and so much for sleeping in. The Reynolds daughter Brook, son-in-law Aaron, granddaughter Kensley, and grandson Arik arrived this morning. Soon we heard Kensley and Arik at our door to say hello. They seemed excited to see us, and they gave big hugs to both of us. Then, they told us about school, and everything they have been doing, as much as an 8 and 10-year-old can say to you. Then back over to abuela and papa's RV.  Soon after, we were off to Pismo Beach. We drove to the left, went as far as we could, then turned around and headed toward the far-end gate. The part of the beach you can drive on was so short compared to before, but it was due to the recent storms. The Reynolds were ahead of us, and as we passed the first gate, a guy flagged us down.
