A lazy Friday morning. Tea, coffee, banana, and email. Ryan, Amanda, Addison, and Tucker are arriving today. They rented a condo in Lincoln City, about fifteen minutes north of us. They should arrive around 3:00 – 3:30 and we will either meet at their place or ours for photos. We have never had decent photos taken of us so I asked her if she would. She was a professional photographer for a while. 






We headed out to lunch around 1:00 and decided to try Rusty Truck Brewing. Great little joint. I had a Caesar salad and Barry had a large pretzel with spicy hot cheese sauce. What I loved about this place was all the décor. Signs everywhere. But the best thing was a digital jukebox on the wall. I could kick myself because I didn’t take a photo of it. I’ve never seen one and was fascinated by it. Barry thought our server looked like Renée Zellweger. 


                   


                                               

Amanda called and said they arrived. They checked in and took a ride to the area of the beach by them to see if it was a good place for photos, but it was muddy. We decided to go back to our place instead. They have not seen our RV, and this was a good opportunity. They arrived and BIG HUGS all the way around. All of us were so happy to actually see each other and physical hugs instead of virtual ones. Addison is almost as tall as me now. Tour of the RV and we walked down to the beach and choose a few places for photos. There is a path from the campground that leads to the beach, so we decided to walk down and choose a few places on the path. Everyone got involved with choosing places for the photos. The kids and Ryan have been on so many photoshoots with Amanda they knew what to look for. It was truly a family affair and can't wait to see how they turned out. They left to go change and freshen up and we drove to Kyllo’s to get a table.

The wait for a table was forty-five minutes. We went out to the deck and ordered drinks. It was chilly but what a great view. The restaurant sits on the beach. The crew arrived just as our table was ready. Great food, great drinks, and AWESOME company. Chatter never stopped. A wonderful evening. If you are ever in Lincoln City you have to stop and eat here. Perfect Day!

Pacific Coast Village Site #382 JEEPS - 5 (Tuesday), 22 (Thursday) We left home on Monday, June 26th , for Pismo Beach. We are staying at Pismo Coast Village RV Resort for the first time. They have 400 sites. We made the reservations six months ago. We normally stay at Oceano State Beach RV Park, but we wanted to try this place. We are here with Jan & Ken Reynolds. This place does not let you choose a site; they will only tell you your site number the morning you check-in. This is also a place you can join for $50,000, and you get the first pick of sites...ridiculous. You can store your RV at the resort storage across the street. If you are a member, they will bring your RV to your site for you, one perk for the fifty grand. We checked in around 4:30 PM on Monday. The Reynolds are two sites from us and checked in about thirty minutes before us. Check-in time is 4:00 PM. We hooked up and headed to Old Juan's Cantina in Oceanside. 2023-03-25 Saturday Pismo Beach Oceano Campground

My Man! Steps today - 14,442 Saturday, and so much for sleeping in. The Reynolds daughter Brook, son-in-law Aaron, granddaughter Kensley, and grandson Arik arrived this morning. Soon we heard Kensley and Arik at our door to say hello. They seemed excited to see us, and they gave big hugs to both of us. Then, they told us about school, and everything they have been doing, as much as an 8 and 10-year-old can say to you. Then back over to abuela and papa's RV.  Soon after, we were off to Pismo Beach. We drove to the left, went as far as we could, then turned around and headed toward the far-end gate. The part of the beach you can drive on was so short compared to before, but it was due to the recent storms. The Reynolds were ahead of us, and as we passed the first gate, a guy flagged us down. I will do my best to write something each week.  THREET FAMILY PHOTO FUTURE PROJECT Back Row-Billie Mack, Donal Dean, Samuel, Wilma Sue, Willie, Floyd Junior, James Elice Front Row-Ernie, Sylvia, Bruce Travis, Clara Marie, Sandra Kay, Roger Dale The above photo is of my father’s family. My father was born Billie Mack Threet, AKA Billy Max Threet, and has ten siblings. I do not know when he changed the spelling of his first and middle names. This is a something I would like to narrow down in the future.  Another 2022 future goal I have is to write a small piece about each of his siblings and parents. I don’t know much about the early years of dad’s family or vital records dates, but my future goal of 2022 is to try to write down what I do know and possibly learn something new. H
